On ShareASale you’re accustomed to regularly pre-funding your account to pay affiliates. On Awin, invoices are sent either once or twice monthly, directly to the email addresses you provide, and can also be accessed within the Awin Platform under “Invoice History.” Awin invoices can be paid via Check, Wire, ACH or by enrolling in Direct Debit using a US bank account. To ensure affiliates are paid on time and your account remains in good standing, always make sure Awin invoices are paid within your Net terms.

Instead of sales locking on the 20th of each month, on Awin, you’ll familiarize yourself with your program’s Auto-Validation period. With the auto-validation feature enabled, your transactions will be automatically approved after the specified period, unless you manually approve or decline them before this time frame. For example, if your auto-validation period is set to 30 days, you have 30 days from the sale date to amend or decline the sale, before it is automatically validated within the Awin UI. Your auto-validation period typically aligns with your returns policy.

If you are currently using Conversion Lines to reward a publisher in a journey where another partner might have had the last click before conversion, you can now use Awin's Attribution Manager as a solution. Using the Attribution Manager tool, you can set up rules to prioritize the clicks that provide the most value for your business. This includes attribution parameters such as: conversion settings, time window, publisher type, and click preference (last click vs. first click).

Similar to ShareASale, you can use dynamic parameters to personalize content for specific publishers or click the “+” button to insert uploaded offer copy and tracking links directly into your messages. Additionally, Awin, allows you to set up triggered communications - custom, pre-templated messages automatically sent to your publishers when specific performance criteria are met, making easier to engage with your partners regularly.

If you previously had an express signup page for your ShareASale program, you can now effortlessly copy an express signup link for your Awin program directly from the Dashboard in the UI. This unique link allows advertisers to instantly recruit external publishers, enabling them to launch campaigns right away, while compliance checks are processed in the background.
